I’m April, a pre-dental student at UNC with a love for baking desserts and staying healthy. At the age of 10, I developed a passion for the kitchen. I experimented with colors, flavors, and textures in my cakes, which soon became my specialty.

My desserts are made with minimal sugar and natural ingredients, crafted with traditional French pastry techniques. These recipes are made healthy without the use of artificial sweeteners or the removal of ingredients, but rather the addition of whole, nutritious ingredients. The goal of my blog is to help you see the good in enjoying your favorite desserts. Today, I want to share my experience as inspiration for your next showstopping bake. I believe in the remarkable elegance of simply arranged flowers and fruits upon a swirl of whipped cream — the simplicity in sophistication.
