Cookies
- 1/2 cup butter, softened 113 g
- 1/2 cup brown sugar 100 g
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups flour 170 g
- 2 tsp cinnamon 6 g
- 1/2 tsp baking soda 3 g
- 1/2 tsp salt 3 g
Crumble
- 1/3 cup flour 50 g
- 2 tbsp brown sugar 30 g
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon 3 g
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 tbsp butter, melted 28 g
Icing
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar 15 g
- 1 tsp milk 4 g
Instructions
Cookies
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 350º F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Add the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
- Scoop the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet using a cookie scoop. Let the dough chill in the refrigerator while you prepare the cinnamon crumble.
Crumble
- In a bowl, stir together the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add the butter and mix until a crumble forms.
- Use the back of a tablespoon or your fingers to press indents into the cookie dough. Add a teaspoon of crumble in the center of each indent.
- Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool.
Icing
- In a ramekin, stir together the powdered sugar and milk. Drizzle the icing onto the cooled cookies. Enjoy!
